Since launching the Fair Trade Certified label in 1998, Paul has pushed to mainstream the Fair Trade movement by partnering with over 800 companies in North America, expanding certification across multiple food products, and exploring new categories such as apparel and linens. Through increased demand for sustainably-sourced goods, Fair Trade USA and its partners have helped return over $225 million in additional income to farmers and workers in 70 countries across the globe.
