Abundance vs Scarcity

Finding Freedom in a Pandemic

ABOUT THIS EVENT

No matter how rich or poor you were at the start of the pandemic, we all found ourselves scampering for toilet paper. Now, everything feels scarce: our time, our energy, our capacity to be there for each other and ourselves. How do I give when I don't have enough to provide for my family?

The pandemic has exacerbated our scarcity mindset, but what if abundance had always been available to us? Join us for a series of lunchtime conversations on freeing ourselves from a scarcity mindset with a biblical lens. As our society slowly opens up again, we have an opportunity to choose the generous ways of God's kingdom. Are we ready to be any different?

Dr. Michael Barram will offer a frame of abundance through biblical stories and host conversations with community partners on homelessness and education.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Wednesdays at 1:00-1:45PM - One ticket provides access to all three talks.

May 5 - Biblical frame of abundance by Dr. Michael Barram

May 12 - Finding abundance in homelessness with Leslie Gleason and Dr. Michael Barram

May 19 - Finding abundance in education with Kacie Stratton and Dr. Michael Barram

There will be time for Q&A after the conversation.

EXPERIENCE THIS IN COMMUNITY

Invite your friends, community group, or family to experience this together and be each other's accountability partner. It's a great way to connect with loved ones in a new way - by learning, taking small risks, and asking hard questions together.
