ABOUT THIS EVENT
No matter how rich or poor you were at the start of the pandemic, we all found ourselves scampering for toilet paper. Now, everything feels scarce: our time, our energy, our capacity to be there for each other and ourselves. How do I give when I don't have enough to provide for my family?
The pandemic has exacerbated our scarcity mindset, but what if abundance had always been available to us? Join us for a series of lunchtime conversations on freeing ourselves from a scarcity mindset with a biblical lens. As our society slowly opens up again, we have an opportunity to choose the generous ways of God's kingdom. Are we ready to be any different?
Dr. Michael Barram will offer a frame of abundance through biblical stories and host conversations with community partners on homelessness and education.
