Collecting donations and providing service opportunities for teams of 25 people to volunteer at their warehouse facility.
Volunteers work at the nursery and urban farm. Proceeds from these enterprises help support homeless services.
We partnered with Better World Books by mobilizing churches to collect books during the Advent Season. Better World Books is dedicated to funding literacy efforts around the world. |

Packaging meals for delivery to low-income individuals and families in Contra Costa and Solano Counties.
Shoreline cleanups with Friends of Five Creeks, a group of volunteers who seek to protect and restore the watersheds and aquatic and riparian habitat of the creeks of North Berkeley, Albany, Kensington, and southern El Cerrito and Richmond.
Organizing and providing evening childcare so that busy parents can spend a couple of kid-less hours knowing that that children are in a fun and safe environment.

Holding alternative, responsible shopping events with Trade as One, which sells products made by innovative socially responsible organizations in the developing world.
Assisting with various events at this UC Berkeley housing community, which includes many international and low-income families.
Hosting a lunch on the second Sundays of every month for the Urban Church congregation after the service. The congregation is has a large percentage of middle and high schoolers who live in the Sobrante Park community.
